Book of John study notes: chapter 11-13Amy Zhao·Last edited June 5·32 minute readSaveBook of John study notes: chapter 11-13约11:1 有一个患病的人,名叫拉撒路,住在伯大尼,就是马利亚和她姐姐马大的村庄。Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. 约11:4 耶稣听见就说:“这病不至于死,乃是为 神的荣耀,叫 神的儿子因此得荣耀。”When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. 约11:5 耶稣素来爱马大和她妹子并拉撒路,Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. 约11:6 听见拉撒路病了,就在所居之地仍住了两天。When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. 约11:7 然后对门徒说:“我们再往犹太去吧!”Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. In the town of Bethany, there was a family of 3 living there, they were Lazarus, Mary and Martha. Lazarus was sick, and his sister sent man to Jesus, to asking help. Jesus answered the man that Lazarus should not die, but God let him die in order to let Jesus show miracles through him to every eye could see. Jesus knew Lazarus was dying, but still waited 2 more days before departing to Bethany.Mary was the woman who wipe Jesus’s feet by oil. Both Mary and Martha were whores. Mary was my past life. I, Amy Zhao, am the reincarnation of Bethany Mary. She was part of me. In Jesus’s generation, there were 4 people were me. It is called the Split-reincarnation. Which means in Heaven, one soul to be divided into 4 souls, and all 4 souls born on earth as 4 individuals. In that generation, I was 2 Mary and 2 John: Virgin Mary, Bethany Mary, John the Baptist and apostle John.约11:8 门徒说:“拉比,犹太人近来要拿石头打你,你还往那里去吗?”His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? 约11:9 耶稣回答说:“白日不是有十二小时吗?人在白日走路,就不至跌倒,因为看见这世上的光;Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. 约11:10 若在黑夜走路,就必跌倒,因为他没有光。”But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. 约11:11 耶稣说了这话,随后对他们说:“我们的朋友拉撒路睡了,我去叫醒他!”These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 约11:12 门徒说:“主啊,他若睡了,就必好了。”Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. 约11:13 耶稣这话是指着他死说的,他们却以为是说照常睡了。Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 约11:14 耶稣就明明地告诉他们说:“拉撒路死了。Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. 约11:15 我没有在那里就欢喜,这是为你们的缘故,好叫你们相信。如今我们可以往他那里去吧!”And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.2 days later, Jesus prepared to go to Judaea. His disciples said the Jews was willing to stone him, why Jesus still willing to go to Judaea. Jesus answered there was 12 hours per day having daylight. By this light, people walked and should not fall down. But in the night time, there would be no light, it was easy to fall down. Jesus was giving an example and explanation to his disciples, that Jesus himself was the light of world through his teachings, miracles with God, and righteousness. By this light, there was part of the world would not fall down, which means there was half the population would follow Jesus walking in the light. Once the darkness came, the persecution came, the rest half population could fall down and loss the faith in God. What Jesus did was not for all people in that generation, because Jesus knew there were many people could not follow him no matter what kind of miracles he did to the public. What Jesus did was all for those who were able follow him, or those appointed ones that God gave to him.It is the same at the End Age. Before the rapture, there is only half the population can turn away from sins and come to Jesus Christ for salvation. Not all humanity can come to Jesus. When the Rapture happens, the world will see the separation. There will be half the population go into clouds and the rest half will be left behind. The Rapture population is only 50%, which is 3.5 billion people globally. Then, Jesus said Lazarus was died already, hence he could go to him and wake him up. Even Jesus located far away from Bethany, he still could know the hour of Lazarus’s death. Jesus explained he decided to wait 2 more days till Lazarus died and then Jesus could do the miracle to him for all eyes to see.约11:16 多马,又称为低土马,就对那同作门徒的说:“我们也去和他同死吧。”Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him. 约11:17 耶稣到了,就知道拉撒路在坟墓里已经四天了。Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already. 约11:18 伯大尼离耶路撒冷不远,约有六里路。Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off. 约11:19 有好些犹太人来看马大和马利亚,要为她们的兄弟安慰她们。And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 约11:20 马大听见耶稣来了,就出去迎接他;马利亚却仍然坐在家里。Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. 约11:21 马大对耶稣说:“主啊,你若早在这里,我兄弟必不死!Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 约11:22 就是现在,我也知道,你无论向 神求什么, 神也必赐给你。”But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 约11:23 耶稣说:“你兄弟必然复活。”Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 约11:24 马大说:“我知道在末日复活的时候,他必复活;”Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.约11:25 耶稣对她说:“复活在我,生命也在我!信我的人,虽然死了,也必复活。Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 约11:26 凡活着信我的人必永远不死。你信这话吗?”And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 约11:27 马大说:“主啊,是的,我信你是基督,是 神的儿子,就是那要临到世界的。”She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.Thomas and his disciples also went to Bethany behind Jesus. When Jesus arrived Bethany, Lazarus already died for 4 days. There were many Jews came to Bethany from Jerusalem to comfort Mary and Martha. Martha heard Jesus came and run out to Jesus, while Mary was sitting in the house. Martha told Jesus if Jesus asked for God, no matter what he asked, God would give to Jesus. Jesus told Martha that Lazarus would resurrect and live again. Martha said she knew at the End Age, Lazarus would resurrect. Jesus said at the End Age, for whoever believed in Jesus would resurrect from death, because it would be Jesus to make the decision on the resurrection. And for those who believed in Jesus while they were still alive would never die on the souls. Which meant even they might loss flesh bodies, their souls would also go to heaven without death in hell. Jesus asked Martha would she believe in Jesus’s words. Martha answered that she believed in Jesus, for Jesus came to the world as the Son of God, as the Christ. Here Jesus and Martha were talking about the End Age final resurrection. If there is no death, where would be the resurrection. At the End of Age, Martha, Lazarus must be born in the world again, and died too, then resurrect by Jesus Christ. This is called the reincarnation. This is the same to many Christians and Falun Dafa practitioners.约11:28 马大说了这话,就回去暗暗地叫她妹子马利亚说:“夫子来了,叫你。”And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee. 约11:29 马利亚听见了,就急忙起来,到耶稣那里去。As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him. 约11:30 那时,耶稣还没有进村子,仍在马大迎接他的地方。Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him. 约11:31 那些同马利亚在家里安慰她的犹太人,见她急忙起来出去,就跟着她,以为她要往坟墓那里去哭。The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there. 约11:32 马利亚到了耶稣那里,看见他,就俯伏在他脚前,说:“主啊,你若早在这里,我兄弟必不死。”Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 约11:33 耶稣看见她哭,并看见与她同来的犹太人也哭,就心里悲叹,又甚忧愁,When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, 约11:34 便说:“你们把他安放在哪里?”他们回答说:“请主来看。”And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. 约11:35 耶稣哭了。Jesus wept. 约11:36 犹太人就说:“你看他爱这人是何等恳切。”Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! 约11:37 其中有人说:“他既然开了瞎子的眼睛,岂不能叫这人不死吗?”And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? 约11:38 耶稣又心里悲叹,来到坟墓前;那坟墓是个洞,有一块石头挡着。Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 约11:39 耶稣说:“你们把石头挪开!”那死人的姐姐马大对他说:“主啊,他现在必是臭了,因为他死了已经四天了。”Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 约11:40 耶稣说:“我不是对你说过,你若信,就必看见 神的荣耀吗?”Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?Then, Martha went back to her house and called Mary to see Jesus, where was out of the village. Mary run out very quickly, and the Jews saw her running and followed behind her. Mary saw Jesus and cried that if Jesus could come earlier, Lazarus would not die. Mary cried, the Jews followed him cried too, and Jesus cried as well. Jesus asked where they put Lazarus’s body. They lead Jesus to the grave. The Jews murmuring that if Jesus could open eyes for the blind, he would let the man die not. Jesus let people removed the stone covered in front of the grave. Martha said Lazarus’s body must be stench that they should not remove the stone. Jesus told Martha that if she believed in God, she could see the glory of God. The glory of God as the promise was already there, but many could not see. It was because people did not want to see it.约11:41 他们就把石头挪开。耶稣举目望天说:“父啊,我感谢你,因为你已经听我;Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 约11:42 我也知道你常听我。但我说这话,是为周围站着的众人,叫他们信是你差了我来。”And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 约11:43 说了这话,就大声呼叫说:“拉撒路出来!”And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 约11:44 那死人就出来了,手脚裹着布,脸上包着手巾。耶稣对他们说:“解开,叫他走!”And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.People removed the stone. Jesus spoke loudly to the sky to praise God. Jesus said he knew God was always with him, but he still gave the thanks to God, because he did it on purpose to let the public know God was with Jesus. Then, Jesus spoke loudly to ask Lazarus walking out of the grave. Then, Larazus walked out of the grave with the graveclothes on him. Jesus let people to set Larazus free to walk.约11:45 那些来看马利亚的犹太人,见了耶稣所做的事,就多有信他的。Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. 约11:46 但其中也有去见法利赛人的,将耶稣所做的事告诉他们。But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. 约11:47 祭司长和法利赛人聚集公会,说:“这人行好些神迹,我们怎么办呢?Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. 约11:48 若这样由着他,人人都要信他,罗马人也要来夺我们的地土和我们的百姓。”If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. The Jews who followed after Mary also saw this miracle. Then, many from them started to believe in Jesus as the Christ. Some of them told this miracle to the Pharisees. Then, the chief priests and the Pharisees discussed about Jesus and those miracles Jesus did inside their office. They did not know what they should do with the public and with Jesus, for they were very afraid the Roman government came and took away their land and wealth. This story reveals the nature of the Pharisees and the top leaders among the Jews. They are very afraid to loss control on the children of God and what they love is the earthly wealth and good life. As well, they are afraid to be persecuted by the Roman government, the antichrist government. It is the same inner world as in today. When the antichrist’s one world government rises up, when the persecution on Christians comes, people will see many Christian leaders and priests in churches fall away from the faith in Jesus Christ. They will give up their faith from God.约11:49 内中有一个人,名叫该亚法,本年作大祭司,对他们说:“你们不知道什么。And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, 约11:50 独不想一个人替百姓死,免得通国灭亡,就是你们的益处。”Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 约11:51 他这话不是出于自己,是因他本年作大祭司,所以预言耶稣将要替这一国死。And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; 约11:52 也不但替这一国死,并要将 神四散的子民都聚集归一。And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. 约11:53 从那日起他们就商议要杀耶稣。Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. 约11:54 所以耶稣不再显然行在犹太人中间,就离开那里往靠近旷野的地方去。到了一座城,名叫以法莲,就在那里和门徒同住。Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples. 约11:55 犹太人的逾越节近了,有许多人从乡下上耶路撒冷去,要在节前洁净自己。And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves. 约11:56 他们就寻找耶稣,站在殿里彼此说:“你们的意思如何?他不来过节吗?”Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast? 约11:57 那时,祭司长和法利赛人早已吩咐说:“若有人知道耶稣在哪里,就要报明,好去拿他。”Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.The high priest in that year called Caiaphas spoke to the Pharisees that they should not dislike Jesus because if Jesus died, the whole nation would be saved. It was God put this word in Caiaphas’s mouth. What Caiaphas meant was Jesus died for this nation, hence the sin of this nation would gone, then the nation’s people would not be killed by Romans. Not only that, the rest world would come together to witness the fulfillment of the scriptures and come to God as his children. However, the Pharisees still could not understand the salvation from the death of Jesus. Instead, what they were planning in heart was the safety for their own. Hence, they decided to let Jesus die and to let themselves to live. Then, from that day, the Pharisees gathered together to discuss how to kill Jesus.Hence, Jesus left the Jews and the Pharisees, and stayed far from them. Jesus came to the wilderness, and came to a place called Ephraim, and lived with his disciples. The feast of Passover was close. All people went to Jerusalem for purification as they always did it as a tradition. People were discussing about Jesus and asked whether Jesus came to Jerusalem for the feast. They discussed it in the temple. At that time, the Pharisees and the chief priests already planned and prepared to arrest Jesus once Jesus arrived in Jerusalem.约12:1 逾越节前六日,耶稣来到伯大尼,就是他叫拉撒路从死里复活之处。Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 约12:2 有人在那里给耶稣预备筵席,马大伺候,拉撒路也在那同耶稣坐席的人中。There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. 约12:3 马利亚就拿着一斤极贵的真哪哒香膏抹耶稣的脚,又用自己头发去擦,屋里就满了膏的香气。Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 约12:4 有一个门徒,就是那将要卖耶稣的加略人犹大,Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, 约12:5 说:“这香膏为什么不卖三十两银子周济穷人呢?”Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? 约12:6 他说这话,并不是挂念穷人,乃因他是个贼,又带着钱囊,常取其中所存的。This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. 约12:7 耶稣说:“由她吧!她是为我安葬之日存留的。Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. 约12:8 因为常有穷人和你们同在,只是你们不常有我。”For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. Before the feast of Passover, Jesus and his disciples arrived Bethany. People there made a feast for Jesus. Lazarus resurrected and sit together with Jesus in the supper. Mary poured a bottle of very expensive oil on the feet of Jesus, and used her hair to wipe Jesus’s feet. The whole room was filled with fragrance from the oil. Judas Iscariot said why she did that, that was very expensive oil, and it could be sold for 300 pence and feed the needy. The reason for Judas Iscariot speaking so was not because of taking care for the poor people, but grudged the coins. It was because he was a thief whose heart was always seeking for money. Then, Jesus said let her do as she wanted, because that was for his future days in the grave. The days for the disciples with the poors were always, but the days for them stayed with Jesus were very few.In this chapter, Mary was one of my lives in that generation. The reincarnation of Judas Iscariot in the End Age is China’s former chairman, the one who started the persecution on Falun Dafa, Jiang Zemin. Apostle John wrote this chapter 12 was to parallel Revelation 12. Mary is the woman in Revelation 12. Judas Iscariot is the leader of the Red Dragon, which is the Chinese Communist Party. The nature of Jiang, Zemin is a thief who stole all the wealth from Chinese people, and used money to pay for the Red Dragon to persecute God’s prophets.约12:9 有许多犹太人知道耶稣在那里,就来了,不但是为耶稣的缘故,也是要看他从死里所复活的拉撒路。Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. 约12:10 但祭司长商议连拉撒路也要杀了,But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; 约12:11 因有好些犹太人为拉撒路的缘故,回去信了耶稣。Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. 约12:12 第二天,有许多上来过节的人,听见耶稣将到耶路撒冷,On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 约12:13 就拿着棕树枝,出去迎接他,喊着说:“和散那!奉主名来的以色列王是应当称颂的!”Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. 约12:14 耶稣得了一个驴驹,就骑上,如经上所记的说:And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, 约12:15 “锡安的民哪(“民”原文作“女子”),不要惧怕!你的王骑着驴驹来了。”Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. 约12:16 这些事门徒起先不明白,等到耶稣得了荣耀以后,才想起这话是指着他写的,并且众人果然向他这样行了。These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him. 约12:17 当耶稣呼唤拉撒路,叫他从死复活出坟墓的时候,同耶稣在那里的众人就作见证。The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. 约12:18 众人因听见耶稣行了这神迹,就去迎接他。For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. 约12:19 法利赛人彼此说:“看哪,你们是徒劳无益,世人都随从他去了。”The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.The news on Lazarus’s resurrection was spread widely. So many people wanted to see this miracle and came to see Lazarus and Jesus. Hence the chief priests and the Pharisees wanted to kill Jesus and even Lazarus more eagerly, because many of the Jews began to follow Jesus and left the Pharisees away. When people heard Jesus came to Jerusalem, many people took branches of palm trees to welcome Jesus at the gate. And they spoke loudly to welcome the King of Israel. Jesus sit on a donkey and rode it into Jerusalem. Hence, the ancient prophecy scriptures had fulfilled. The scripture is Zechariah 9:9.While Jesus came into Jerusalem, people had not realized the scripture. But once Jesus was resurrected and glorified, people began to realize the scripture was talking about the coming of Jesus as the King of Israel. And people did exactly the same thing as written in the scriptures. When Jesus called Lazarus came out of the grave, many saw the miracle, and many began to speak widely about this miracle. Hence, it caused more and more people to follow Jesus, and welcomed him at the gate of Jerusalem. The Pharisees were very disappointed with this thing, and spoke to each other that all they did before became nothing, and people in this world left them but went to Jesus.约12:20 那时,上来过节礼拜的人中,有几个希利尼人。And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: 约12:21 他们来见加利利伯赛大的腓力,求他说:“先生,我们愿意见耶稣。”The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. 约12:22 腓力去告诉安得烈,安得烈同腓力去告诉耶稣。Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. 约12:23 耶稣说:“人子得荣耀的时候到了。And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 约12:24 我实实在在地告诉你们:一粒麦子不落在地里死了,仍旧是一粒;若是死了,就结出许多子粒来。Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 约12:25 爱惜自己生命的,就失丧生命;在这世上恨恶自己生命的,就要保守生命到永生。He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 约12:26 若有人服事我,就当跟从我;我在哪里,服事我的人也要在那里;若有人服事我,我父必尊重他。If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. At that time, many Greek people also came to Jerusalem for the feast of Passover. They also heard about the miracle that Jesus did, and were willing to see Jesus in person. They told Andrew, and Andrew told Philip, and Philip came to Jesus and told him their willingness. Then, Jesus said the hour arrived, for the Son of Man should be glorified. Jesus was speaking about his hour in that generation, as well the prophecy for the End Age. In that generation, Jesus became the King for 2 group of people: the Jews and the Greeks, representing the Jewish people and the Christians. For the End Age, it will be the same. When you see both Christians and Jewish people come together to accept Jesus Christ as their King, the 2nd time to glorify Jesus Christ is about to come, which is the 2nd coming of the King.As a metaphor, Jesus compared himself as a seed of wheat. Only if this seed of wheat died in the ground, there would come the harvesting of many fruits. Jesus was talking about his own death on the cross, as well Jesus was the example for all his followers. For whoever loved his own earthly life, will loss the eternal life in heaven; for whoever lost the earthly life, will receive the promised eternal life in heaven. For whoever willing to follow Jesus, people need to serve Jesus, and if they served Jesus, God will respect them with heavenly glory. To serve Jesus means to sacrifice their own earthly living styles, even their own lives once the persecution comes.约12:27 我现在心里忧愁,我说什么才好呢?父啊,救我脱离这时候,但我原是为这时候来的。Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 约12:28 父啊,愿你荣耀你的名。”当时就有声音从天上来说:“我已经荣耀了我的名,还要再荣耀。”Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 约12:29 站在旁边的众人听见,就说:“打雷了。”还有人说:“有天使对他说话。”The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. 约12:30 耶稣说:“这声音不是为我,是为你们来的。Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 约12:31 现在这世界受审判,这世界的王要被赶出去。Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 约12:32 我若从地上被举起来,就要吸引万人来归我。”And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 约12:33 耶稣这话原是指着自己将要怎样死说的。This he said, signifying what death he should die.Jesus knew his great suffering hour had come, and his heart troubled. Jesus spoke to Father God to save him for this suffering hour. Then, there was a voice came from above that God said God would glorify his name again. Which meant once God let Jesus resurrected from death, God would glorify himself again. For some people, the voice of God sounds like a great thunder. Jesus said God sent down this voice was for the rest people as the witnesses. The hour for the judgment of the world had come, the prince of the world was about to be arrested and cast out fromhis people. However, once Jesus was hanged up on the cross, the mission would be fulfilled, and Jesus would become the King of the world and all people would come to Jesus. It was God lifted Jesus up to heaven, and it was also because people lifted Jesus up too. Here Jesus was speaking about his death in his end.约12:34 众人回答说:“我们听见律法上有话说‘基督是永存的’,你怎么说‘人子必须被举起来’呢?这人子是谁呢?”The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? 约12:35 耶稣对他们说:“光在你们中间还有不多的时候,应当趁着有光行走,免得黑暗临到你们;那在黑暗里行走的,不知道往何处去。Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 约12:36 你们应当趁着有光,信从这光,使你们成为光明之子。”耶稣说了这话,就离开他们,隐藏了。While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.People asking in the scripture, the messiah would last forever, but the Son of Man must be lifted up, then who was this son of man. Jesus answered them that once the light was on the world, people should follow the light and to be the children of light. Once the light was gone and the darkness came, people would not know what they should do and where they should go. Jesus was confirming that himself was Christ, the Messiah, the Son of God and the light of world. After speaking so, Jesus left them and disappeared from them. For his 2nd coming, the situation will be the same. Before Jesus Christ’s 2nd coming on earth, there will a short time darkness and persecution from the global antichrist government. Hence, before this persecution, people should cherish this peaceful time to know and follow Jesus Christ. Because once the persecution comes, many will loss their life for seeking Jesus Christ.约12:37 他虽然在他们面前行了许多神迹,他们还是不信他。But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 约12:38 这是要应验先知以赛亚的话,说:“主啊,我们所传的有谁信呢?主的膀臂向谁显露呢?”That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? 约12:39 他们所以不能信,因为以赛亚又说:Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 约12:40 “主叫他们瞎了眼、硬了心,免得他们眼睛看见,心里明白,回转过来,我就医治他们。”He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 约12:41 以赛亚因为看见他的荣耀,就指着他说这话。These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. 约12:42 虽然如此,官长中却有好些信他的,只因法利赛人的缘故,就不承认,恐怕被赶出会堂。Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 约12:43 这是因他们爱人的荣耀过于爱 神的荣耀。For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.In front of many people, many miracles had Jesus did to the public, but still there were many could not believe and follow Jesus. This was another fulfillment of the ancient scriptures. The scripture is Isaiah 53:3-5. It was God hardened people’s hearts, to make them could not listen, could not see, could not understand and believe in the miracles that God did through Jesus’s hand. It was God let these people blocked from the truth, as how God hardened Pharaoh’s heart in the Exodus age. From the chief priests and the Pharisees, there were also some of them began to believe in Jesus. However, they did not confess their faith in Jesus because they were afraid to be kicked out of the majority Jews. It was because they loved man and worldly things more than God. This is the very same situation in today among Falun Dafa practitioners. Many Dafa practitioners already know that Jesus Christ is the upper-master within the book <Zhuan Falun>, but they do not want to speak for Jesus Christ in the public. Because they are afraid to be kicked out from the Dafa programs or projects they are doing right now.约12:44 耶稣大声说:“信我的,不是信我,乃是信那差我来的。Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 约12:45 人看见我,就是看见那差我来的。And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 约12:46 我到世上来,乃是光,叫凡信我的,不住在黑暗里。I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 约12:47 若有人听见我的话不遵守,我不审判他。我来本不是要审判世界,乃是要拯救世界。And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 约12:48 弃绝我、不领受我话的人,有审判他的,就是我所讲的道,在末日要审判他。He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 约12:49 因为我没有凭着自己讲,惟有差我来的父,已经给我命令,叫我说什么,讲什么。For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 约12:50 我也知道他的命令就是永生。故此,我所讲的话正是照着父对我所说的。”And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.Jesus explained to all that if one trusted Jesus Christ, it would be the same to trust in Father God. Because it was God sent down Jesus among people. It was God let Jesus to be the light of the world. For whoever following Jesus would not live in the spirit darkness any more. Their hearts would fill with light and hope. For whoever heard Jesus’s teachings but did not follow his words, he/she would be judged by God in heaven. Jesus would not judge anyone on earth, for his coming was to save this world. And even till the End of Age, in the Final Judgement day, they will be judged based on Jesus’s teachings. Jesus said it would be his words to judge everyone. What Jesus spoke to the world was not from his own, but from God. It was God’s order to let Jesus speaking to men on earth. The order sent from God unto Jesus is the everlasting life in heaven.约13:1 逾越节以前,耶稣知道自己离世归父的时候到了,他既然爱世间属自己的人,就爱他们到底。Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 约13:2 吃晚饭的时候,魔鬼已将卖耶稣的意思放在西门的儿子加略人犹大心里。And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him; 约13:3 耶稣知道父已将万有交在他手里,且知道自己是从 神出来的,又要归到 神那里去,Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; 约13:4 就离席站起来脱了衣服,拿一条手巾束腰,He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. 约13:5 随后把水倒在盆里,就洗门徒的脚,并用自己所束的手巾擦干。After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. 约13:6 挨到西门彼得,彼得对他说:“主啊,你洗我的脚吗?”Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 约13:7 耶稣回答说:“我所做的,你如今不知道,后来必明白。”Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 约13:8 彼得说:“你永不可洗我的脚!”耶稣说:“我若不洗你,你就与我无分了。”Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 约13:9 西门彼得说:“主啊,不但我的脚,连手和头也要洗!。”Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 约13:10 耶稣说:“凡洗过澡的人,只要把脚一洗,全身就干净了;你们是乾净的,然而不都是乾净的。”Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. Before, Jesus spoke many times that his hour had not come yet. The hour spoken by Jesus was the hour for the crucifixion and resurrection. Before the Passover feast, Jesus knew the timeline that God planned for him. The devil was put into Judas Iscariot’s heart, hence he changed his attitude and behavior to the evil side. Jesus knew Father God already gave everything that God created into Jesus’s hands. Which means Jesus would be the inheritor of God. Then, Jesus began to wash feet for all his disciples. Peter asked why should the Lord wash feet for his disciples. Jesus answered if Peter did not let Jesus wash his feet, Peter would have no connections with Jesus. Then, Peter said Jesus should wash not only his feet, but his hands and head. Jesus said once his disciples’s feet were clean, their whole bodies were clean too. However, not all disciples were clean. Jesus washed all feet for all his disciples, including Judas Iscariot. Once everyone’s feet were clean, there was one person who was still not clean. This one was Judas Iscariot. What Jesus cleaned were feet, only part of the body, and the dirtiest part on the body. What made the rest body clean was from the Heavenly Father and from each person’s heart. This is the process of CULTIVATION. The Cultivation is not just to repent sins to Jesus Christ, but also examine every deed on everything one did in every day. Cultivation has 2 parts: to repent sins to Jesus Christ and to correct behaviors and attitude in daily life. Just like to make the whole body clean, one cannot just wash the feet, but also clean the rest body. To repent sins to Jesus Christ, is to clean feet by Jesus. To regulate one’s deeds every day is to clean the rest body by the help from Father God.Here, Jesus already made Judas Iscariot’s feet clean, but his body was still full of dirty, because Judas Iscariot was not a true disciple who following Jesus Christ from the very beginning.约13:11 耶稣原知道要卖他的是谁,所以说:“你们不都是干净的。”For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean. 约13:12 耶稣洗完了他们的脚,就穿上衣服,又坐下,对他们说:“我向你们所做的,你们明白吗?So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? 约13:13 你们称呼我夫子,称呼我主,你们说的不错,我本来是。Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 约13:14 我是你们的主,你们的夫子,尚且洗你们的脚,你们也当彼此洗脚。If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. 约13:15 我给你们作了榜样,叫你们照着我向你们所做的去做。For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 约13:16 我实实在在地告诉你们:仆人不能大于主人,差人也不能大于差他的人。Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 约13:17 你们既知道这事,若是去行就有福了。If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. 约13:18 我这话不是指着你们众人说的,我知道我所拣选的是谁。现在要应验经上的话,说:‘同我吃饭的人,用脚踢我。’I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.Jesus knew at the very beginning about who would be the one selling him to the Jews. Jesus finished washing feet, and sit by the table and asked them if they all understood why Jesus did so to them. Jesus confirmed that he was the Master and the Lord to all disciples, and he still washed feet for his disciples. Jesus did a good example on humbleness and salvation to others. Jesus asked all his disciples to do the same thing as of Jesus did. When the disciples to preach the gospel of the blood to all the world, the disciples should stay in humble, stay in low, and bring the salvation news to all as if they were cleaning humanity’s feet.Jesus said that a servant should not be bigger than his Master or Lord. A servant of God should always stay in humble and low in the attitude, and always put God as the bigger one than themselves. For those who stayed in humble on everything, would have the real happiness in heart. Jesus said his words was not for every human, but only for those chosen ones, the ones who could be called as disciples. These disciples were also called as the prophets and apostles.Jesus continuing his word that the one who ate his bread would kick Jesus back, just as the scripture says.约13:19 如今事情还没有成就,我要先告诉你们,叫你们到事情成就的时候,可以信我是基督。Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. 约13:20 我实实在在地告诉你们:有人接待我所差遣的,就是接待我;接待我,就是接待那差遣我的。”Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 约13:21 耶稣说了这话,心里忧愁,就明说:“我实实在在地告诉你们:你们中间有一个人要卖我了。”When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. 约13:22 门徒彼此对看,猜不透所说的是谁。Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. 约13:23 有一个门徒,是耶稣所爱的,侧身挨近耶稣的怀里。Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. 约13:24 西门彼得点头对他说:“你告诉我们,主是指着谁说的。”Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. 约13:25 那门徒便就势靠着耶稣的胸膛,问他说:“主啊,是谁呢?”He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? 约13:26 耶稣回答说:“我蘸一点饼给谁,就是谁。”耶稣就蘸了一点饼,递给加略人西门的儿子犹大。Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. 约13:27 他吃了以后,撒但就入了他的心。耶稣便对他说:“你所做的,快做吧!”And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.Jesus said he must speak so to all before the thing happened, hence after the thing happened, they all could believe that Jesus was the Christ written in the ancient scripture. For whoever accepting the disciples of Jesus, was the same to accept Jesus. For whoever accepting Jesus, was the same to accept God. Then, Jesus said one from these disciples would not accept Jesus but to sell Jesus to the enemy. Then, all his disciples began to discussing, and the one Jesus loved came closer to Jesus and asked who should be the one to betray Jesus. This disciple that Jesus loved was apostle John. Here is also a prophecy for the End Age. At the End Age, John will be the Bride of Christ, who is me, Amy Zhao. Jesus loves me as I am his Bride. Then, Jesus answered John that Jesus would give a piece of bread to the betrayer. And Jesus gave it to Judas Iscariot. Judas Iscariots ate it and Jesus told him to do what he wanted to do. Once Judas Iscariot ate the bread, Satan came into his heart. Then, he changed and stepped on the evil side. At the End Age, Satan is the Red Dragon, the Chinese Communist Party. Judas Iscariot reincarnated back on earth as Jiang, Zemin, the one who persecuted prophets of God and Lord Jesus Christ. Since the beginning of the Creation, the soul of Judas Iscariot had a strong connection with Satan all the time.约13:28 同席的人,没有一个知道是为什么对他说这话。Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him. 约13:29 有人因犹大带着钱囊,以为耶稣是对他说:“你去买我们过节所应用的东西”,或是叫他拿什么周济穷人。For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.约13:30 犹大受了那点饼,立刻就出去。那时候是夜间了。He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night. 约13:31 他既出去,耶稣就说:“如今人子得了荣耀, 神在人子身上也得了荣耀。Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. 约13:32 神要因自己荣耀人子,并且要快快地荣耀他。If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.All the rest disciples did not understand what did Jesus mean. They thought Jesus asked Judas Iscariot to purchase things for the needy or for the feast, because Judas Iscariot carried a big bag of coins on him. Then, Judas Iscariot ate the piece of bread that Jesus gave to him, and run out into the night. After his leaving, Jesus told the rest disciples that now Son of man was glorified, and Father God was also glorified from the son of man. God would glorify both Jesus and himself.约13:33 小子们,我还有不多的时候与你们同在,后来你们要找我,但我所去的地方你们不能到。这话我曾对犹太人说过,如今也照样对你们说。Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. 约13:34 我赐给你们一条新命令,乃是叫你们彼此相爱;我怎样爱你们,你们也要怎样相爱。A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 约13:35 你们若有彼此相爱的心,众人因此就认出你们是我的门徒了。”By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. 约13:36 西门彼得问耶稣说:“主往哪里去?”耶稣回答说:“我所去的地方,你现在不能跟我去,后来却要跟我去。”Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. 约13:37 彼得说:“主啊,我为什么现在不能跟你去?我愿意为你舍命。”Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. 约13:38 耶稣说:“你愿意为我舍命吗?我实实在在地告诉你:鸡叫以先,你要三次不认我。Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.Jesus said to all that the time for Jesus stayed with his disciples were very short. After Jesus ascending to Heaven, people on earth could not find him anymore, and where Jesus would go, the rest could not arrive. It is because Jesus would go into the New Heaven promised by God. All his disciples need to learn the New Law of God first, then go into the New Heaven.Jesus then gave all a new commandment, that the true followers of Jesus Christ must have love to each other. Love means compassion. From the moment Jesus ascending to heaven, for the Christians on earth, there were 11 commandments to follow: 10 from Moses Law and 1 from Jesus Christ. This makes the difference between Christianity and Judaism.Peter asked Jesus where he would go. Jesus answered that Peter could not go into the place Jesus would go, but Peter would go in a later time. At the End Age, when all the disciples learned the New Law of God, they can finally go into the Re-Newed Heaven.Peter cried to Jesus that he would like to follow Jesus and give up his life. Jesus answered to Peter that Peter would deny Jesus’s name for 3 times.
